Turn Your Debt Into an Art Project to Get Motivated to Pay It OffEconomy 2016. 6. 7. 02:23반응형
The black-and-white balance on your debt’s account page isn’t a very psychologically soothing image. If you want something more motivating, turn your debt into an art project.
As personal finance site How Do I Money explains, for those with a bit of artistic flair, creating an art project out of your debt can change up how you think about your finances. For example, one artist filled in one swirl in a drawing for every $100 paid towards her debt. The picture hung in her living room in plain sight. No one would know it was a map of her debt, because it just looked like a pretty picture, but she knew that as that image got more colorful, her debt was closer to being paid off.
Your own artwork can vary however you’d like it. If you like to draw, add a bit more to a drawing each time you make a payment. Add one more Lego to a set, add one more part to something you’re building. Turning your artistic passion into a way to measure your progress in paying off debt is a great way to bridge the gap between two very different mindsets.
Could “debt art” help you pay off your debt faster? It helped these folks. | How Do I Money via Rockstar Finance반응형'Economy' 카테고리의 다른 글
